The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie Saturday, September 28, 2019 View this post on Instagram I’m going to make some whole wheat dark chocolate chip cookies today! Who’s with me!?🙋🏿♀️😋 —— 🍪RECIPE🍪 1 cup whole wheat flour (I use bob’s red mill organic whole wheat flour) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 3/4 cup raw sugar 1 teaspoon pure ground vanilla or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 large egg 4oz of chocolate chips (more or less can be added depending on what you like) —— • Preheat oven to 350° F. • Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. • Cream butter and sugar together until light and airy (about 4 minutes). • Add egg to creamed butter mixture. Mix until fully incorporated. Add vanilla. • Gradually add in flour mixture, stirring after each addition. • Stir in chocolate chips. • Let chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator. • Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
